Resinwerks Simerrazzo Floor Coatings
There are many options when it comes to concrete floor coatings from My Garage Floor Guys. Resinwerks Simerrazzo is an option that is becoming more and more popular for commercial businesses. This floor coating system is a more affordable option that will be completed in a shorter timeframe. The key to this flooring is the Resinwerks zero-VOC Rapid H20 EP broadcast coat. The coat will pull the paint flakes down into the coating, which deepens the color level and helps protect the surface with a higher durability.
A Professional Polished Look
Applying a concrete coating will create a more professional look for any space. There are many different blends and color options for polished floor coatings. You can enhance the look of your space by customizing the aggregates in the coating and applying a decorative terrazzo finish.
All of our coatings are finished with a hi-wear urethane that comes in satin and gloss finishes. Simerrazzo systems can be built in a variety of ways that will best suit your unique needs. The system consists of a primer, a specialized aggregate broadcast, grout, a build coat, and a topcoat. They feature a water-reducible epoxy coat that contains no VOCs and we will also apply a durable high-traffic topcoat.
All coatings from My Garage Floor Guys will be vibrant and bring a longer lifespan to your floors. No matter what space you are adding a floor coating to, you can rest assured that it will stand out with a coating from our experts.

What Benefits Do Simulated Terrazzo Floors From Resinwerks Provide?
Ease Of Maintenance
Resinwerks Simmerrazzo floor coatings make it easier to clean your floors and avoid stains. Floor coatings will prevent oil, grease, or paint from seeping into the concrete which is almost impossible to remove. The effort required for routine cleaning is lessened when you have a coated floor.
Added Durability
All floor coatings, especially Simerrazzo coatings are the best way to improve the durability of your floors. Preventing damage from foot traffic, cars, furniture, and greasy liquids are just some of the reasons to add floor coatings to your concrete. The durability of the floor coatings also means that you will have that look of a glossy floor for much longer.
Cost-Effective
Applying a floor coating is a worthwhile investment for your business. It can save you money in the long run by limiting the repairs needed inside the space. Concrete is prone to cracking and dents, so applying a floor coating will help mitigate the need for repairs.
How To Maintain The Look Of Your Simulated Terrazzo Floors
- Regular cleaning like sweeping or mopping, is essential to prevent dirt and debris from scratching the coating.
- Promptly clean up spills to avoid damage to the coating
- Use pH-neutral cleaners to avoid damaging the coating
- Place doormats at entrances to reduce the tracking of abrasive dirt.
- Limit standing water or remove it quickly after a storm
- Have the coating inspected every so often for scratches or other damage. They can often be repaired to prevent further issues.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers that can degrade the coating. Don’t use bleach, ammonia, or products containing citrus extracts.
- Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for resealing or recoating as necessary.
